"I would rather own little and see the world than own the world and see little of it."-Alexander Sattler.
I’ve never been a big traveler. In fact, it took me 16 years to even leave my own time zone. However, one week from today, I will be boarding a plane bound for Venice, Italy! Although I haven’t traveled too much, I’ve always known that I wanted to partake in the once-in-a-lifetime experience of studying abroad. Luckily, Georgia Tech (and the Ivan Allen College, in particular) has a variety of options available for students. As a Science, Technology, and Culture major, the Italian Film Study Abroad program was perfect for my media concentration! While over there, we will get hands-on experience with directing, producing, filming, and editing our own documentary on a topic of our choosing! Only 7 days, 8 hours, and 9 minutes till take-off, but who’s counting?! :)
